When buying a house, one of the most important things to consider before the house is the neighborhood. Are you buying into the right neighborhood? Remember, once you have bought the house, a lot of things can be changed therein, but very little can be done to change your neighborhood. So, before making any offer, check the potential home’s situation. Look at the actual site of the house., If it is on a hill, does it have a wonderful vista? a basement? stairs to climb? Is the house easily seen from your neighbor’s windows? Does the house offer privacy? Does it have a yard fit for children, pets or gardening?
